Creating Jobs and Economic Growth
The best ways to stimulate economic growth in our Commonwealth are time-tested ones: reduce taxes, untangle burdensome regulations, free up capital and create public policies at all levels of state government. I support legislation that cuts taxes, reduces regulations, and creates opportunities for business to develop, grow, and prosper.

Cutting Taxes and Eliminating Wasteful Spending
Low taxes and limited state government will ensure that Massachusetts will be an affordable place to live. I have signed the Citizens for Limited Taxation pledge to vote against any new taxes. I consistently support legislation that cuts taxes and wasteful spending in our state government.

Restoring Trust in State Government
For years, we, and our hard earned money, have been taxed too much. Cuts in local aid dollars to our cities and towns have been used to hire more state workers with increased salaries during difficult economic times. I am working to restore trust in our state government. I support your interests by working to cut taxes, eliminate unnecessary state jobs, and oppose cuts in local aid that fund our schools, public safety, and public works.

Health Care
I support common sense Health Care reforms.

Education
I am committed to unlocking the potential of every child. I believe in the importance of maintaining a world-class system of primary and secondary education.

Illegal Immigration
The idea that illegal immigrants should have the same benefits and opportunities as legal citizens is unacceptable. Those persons who have crossed borders by illegal means should not be provided the same liberties, rights, and privileges as law abiding citizens. In-state college tuition should serve for the benefit of the legal citizens of the Commonwealth. I support laws to discourage illegal immigrants from settling in our Commonwealth to become a burden on the taxpayers and becoming consumers of our public services.

Advocating Second Amendment Rights
I believe in a citizen's right to keep and bear arms. I am an advocate for responsible, safe gun ownership.
