LT. GOVERNOR KERRY HEALEY IN REHOBOTH TO ENDORSE STEVEN HOWITT
(Rehoboth, MA) Francis Farm was the venue for the Lt. Governor Kerry M. Healey to announce her support and endorsement of candidate Steven Howitt for State Representative in the 4th Bristol District. Fresh from her speech at the Republican National Convention, the newly renovated farm locale was offered a more intimate crowd of supporters. The dinner festivities, camaraderie and enthusiasm were apparent as the Lt. Governor addressed the crowd.
“I am endorsing Steven Howitt as the best person to represent the 4th Bristol District. He is the person who will listen to you, and will work hard for you. He wants to put money back in your pocket. The Governor and I want him to work hand in hand together with us on Beacon Hill to make that happen. Steven is experienced as a businessman and knows the meaning of hard work. He will take your message to Beacon Hill, and will look for accountability and Reform. I ask for your vote on November 2 to ensure that the best person for the job wins this very important election. Steven Howitt deserves your support and your vote.”
Attending in support of Howitt and introducing Lt. Governor Healey was Senator Jo Ann Sprague (R-Walpole) who joined in endorsing Howitt as the best candidate to represent this district. “I am here tonight to tell you that Steven Howitt should be our next State Representative. He believes in reform and accountability, and is going to work hard for all of us.”
Howitt’s remarks focused on accountability and change. He reiterated the reminder that the incumbent “hasn’t listened to the will of the voters for the last 22 years, and he certainly won’t change that behavior pattern going forward. It’s time to remove this “travesty” from office. It’s time for a fresh face and someone who will listen to the people of the 4th Bristol District, because that’s Howitt works!”
